Business Associate (Entry-Level) | Operations & Localization

Location: Berlin DE (based in Berlin - 4 office days)

Wayfair’s Berlin office is looking for a talented Business Associate for our Stores & Geos team to help manage our international storefronts, product catalog and customer and supplier-facing interfaces! This is a great opportunity to directly impact the development of our global business and to ensure that our customers have the best shopping experience on our international sites.

This role provides a mix of project management, business operations, strategy and cross-functional collaboration within global teams. What you’ll do:

• Develop a detailed understanding of business operations, project management and cross-functional problem solving in an international e-commerce company
• Collaborate with partner teams to contribute to the development of tools
• Orchestrate quality checks of supplier- and customer-facing UI/UX interfaces
• Independently manage projects, eg. with tech and/or commercial partners
• Execute on data-driven projects to improve product quality, identify process improvement opportunities and potential blockers, or implement new business ideas
• Root cause bugs and identify solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Review and analyze quality of machine translations or existing translation workflows for the right balance of cost, quality and speed)
• Drive operational performance by triaging tickets to improve customer experience
• Work within a global team, based in Berlin and Boston, contributing to the company’s targets and support us in our mission to become the best online retailer for home

What you’ll need:

• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, a high level of proficiency in German, additional languages are a plus!
• A true team player and comfortable in an international and fast-paced environment
• A successful track record of developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, working collaboratively and driving cross-departmental projects
• Innovative problem-solving skills, dissecting problems and implementing solutions
• An analytical mindset and data-driven approach, first experience in working with GSuite
• Demonstrated interest/ experience in e-commerce, start-up or management consulting
