Lets connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the IT Global Service Desk EMEA team at our headquarters in Hanover / Germany, join us on a permanent basis, commencing at the earliest possible date as an IT Service Desk Analyst. You can look forward to
  • Receiving, classifying and documenting incidents, service requests, requests for information and complaints via various media (telephone, email, ticket system and chat)
  • Control, monitoring and processing of incidents as the responsible owner, including the necessary escalation and forwarding of incidents to the responsible service provider and monitoring of fault clearance
  • Completion of 1st level tasks within a defined framework
  • Proactive and reactive performance monitoring and incident handling, as well as daily review of system status according to checklist
  • Creation and maintenance of information in the global knowledge base
  • Processing service requests and carrying out the associated necessary clarifications in the event of an error
  • Documenting service requests and communicating with users as part of the request fulfilment process
  • Management of external service providers
You come equipped with
  • Completed vocational training in the IT sector or in the service sector, e.g. hotel industry and at least one year of professional experience in a service-orientated IT area with international customer contact
  • Very good knowledge of the MS Office products currently in use
  • Good knowledge of client operating systems and good hardware knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of network and IT processes
  • German and English at a business fluent level
  • Strong service orientation and a very good communication style
