Facilities Supervisor

Overview

Responsible for administrating predictive and preventative maintenance activities utilizing our web based CMMS system. Support safe, timely, efficient, high quality production by providing effective leadership to Maintenance Technicians and contractors for the repair, maintenance, and installation of equipment. Schedule, coordinate, and execute maintenance related activities with department leads, Maintenance Technicians, and outside contractors. Develop key metrics that drive continuous improvement in both staff and equipment.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:

• Recommends and implements programs that maximize safety, cost efficiency and reliability of facilities systems. Identifies critical facilities equipment, collects data to identify frequent failures and implements problem solving techniques to improve reliability/reduce costs.
• Proactively coordinates a variety of Environmental auditing, reporting and new program activities supporting overall plant goals of zero controllable incidents, recycling/waste minimization and full compliance with all reporting requirements.
• Light maintenance duties including: Moving of office furniture/storage; Lighting; Groundskeeping activities; ensuring the parking lots are clean and safe for employees
• Maintain door keys system
• Determine in-house maintenance vs. outside contractors
• Coordinate the activities of a variety of outside contractors who provide services for the Company facilities including soliciting, negotiating and managing contracting bids
• Creating and maintaining maintenance schedules; reporting
• Coordinate with the Company plant service
• Create and manage the Company Lock out/Tag out program
• Maintain transportation equipment schedules
• Promote and maintain full compliance with Federal and State Environmental regulations and Agencies within Company guidelines.
• Monitor security procedures, control, and access.

Education/Experience:

• High school degree or equivalent
• At least three years of experience in maintenance management in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to remain flexible in a dynamic business environment.
• Ability to read/comprehend schematics and technical information and document improvements made to systems.
• Work effectively as a team member, leader and facilitator.
• Prioritize and complete multiple tasks and responsibilities

Certificates and Licenses:

• HVAC or industrial electrical preferred
