• You support the data team in the creation of valuable data products that automate simple or complex recurrent tasks.
• You participate in data collection, processing and exploratory analysis as well as in the development of predictive models and their validation.
• You combine data from internal and external sources and process them into an analytical data set.
• You support us in the area of data engineering in expanding data pipelines / ETL processes.
• You will cooperate with the different departments (Finance, HR, E-Commerce, Transport & Marketing Teams) to help them solve business problems by developing valuable data products, as well as with other countries, to ensure that these developed solutions can be reproduced in the whole Decathlon network.

• Master degree program in computer science, mathematics, statistics or a comparable subject.
• You are confident in taking ownership of projects from start to finish and enjoy the process of turning ideas into reality.
• You are energized by translating business questions into data science products, solving those problems, and interpreting the output back into clear outcomes.
• You have a good knowledge of SQL, R or Python.
• You have a good knowledge of machine learning, statistics and probability theory.
• Fluent English written and spoken is necessary, German is a bonus.
