Your responsibilities PTV Developer Platform offers high-performance APIs by logistical and geographical functionalities. The APIs can be combined and customized as needed and scaled easily.

Your work will cover all phases of the development cycle:

• Understanding Requirements: Gain a thorough understanding of the requirements, including the features and functionalities needed for the API platform.
• Developing APIs: Implement the business logic and service endpoints for the APIs using Java
• Frontend Development: Develop Code Samples, Showcases and Tutorials illustrating the use of the PTV Developer APIs, using TypeScript/React
• Integration Testing: Write and execute integration tests to ensure that different components of the API platform work together seamlessly.
• Deployment and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Deploy the API platform to cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure) using services like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Security Updates and Maintenance: Stay updated with security best practices and apply patches and updates to keep the API platform secure.
• Learning and Growth: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in full stack development and API design.

Your qualifications

• Holds a degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience as a Full Stack Developer
• Not necessarily a senior-level position
• Good skills in a higher-level programming language, preferably Java
• Proficiency in working with databases
• Expertise in cloud environments (Azure, AWS) is advantageous
• Fluent in both German and English
• Strong teamwork skills
