AI Video Creator (All Genders)

Zalando’s newly formed Inspiration and Entertainment venture is seeking a creative, dynamic and experienced video artist, who understands how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is going to impact brand video development and understands how to leverage this technology to enable impactful business outcomes at scale. This role is part of a new team at Zalando that will focus on embracing a new future, where every click unveils a new chapter in the evolution of online retail. The AI Video Artist will be embedded in Zalando’s pioneering editorial team and will have a strong sense of leadership to help shape the transition between traditional video production skills and Artificial Intelligence technology. You will be part of a fast-paced team which is driving innovation in culture led-storytelling. You will also work with our creative, brand, and social media teams to ensure brand alignment with our content. As AI Video Artist, you will be required to have a blend of depth and knowledge about emerging digital content creation trends and traditional video production tools such as Adobe’s creative suite.

• You will work on a high-functioning creative team that is driving innovations at the intersection of entertainment, culture, and fashion/beauty commerce

• As an independent contributor you will work day-to-day with our editorial and content productions teams from zStudios and Highsnobiety in a newsroom like set-up to deliver irresistible entry points into the most compelling fashion stories of the day

• You will support editorial and productions teams to up-level planned releases but also have the creative license to drive new ideas

• You will try many different approaches and formats, optimizing those that gain traction with our audiences

• You will explore new tooling and features in AI generated content as it develops, finding new opportunities to deliver compelling new formats that are able to scale

• You’ll have access to state of the art equipment, production studio space, and access to a vast library of high value production assets from the worlds leading Fashion / Beauty Brands and culture shaping talent.

• You love to flex your creativity in new ways, have an experimentation mindset and are passionate about sharing your insights in the creative communities you operate in

• You have a strong creative background (experience working in multiple steps of the creative process such as cinematography, producing, and editing a major plus) and clear design aesthetic that you are able to adapt to varied environments

• Due to your experience in this space and familiarity with the emergent tooling you are able to handle multiple assignments at once, work against deadlines, and move fast without sacrificing on quality

• You take an active interest in market trends and keep tabs on the latest talents and creators driving innovation in creative video formats - bringing new ideas into creative discussions

• You are able to translate your winning approaches into templates that other creatives can adapt for their content

• You thrive in a collaborative environment, welcome feedback, and lean into your excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to elevate the creative communities you work within
