Financial Accountant (all genders)

• Responsibility for the financial accounting and closings of designated European Beiersdorf companies
• Coordination and preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with local GAAP (e.g. HGB) and IFRS
• Self-reliant analysis and documentation of accounts and financial statements
• Contact for financial and tax auditors
• Monitoring and reporting of VAT transactions and contact person for questions related to VAT
• Pro-active development and standardization of accounting processes
• Participation in international projects e.g. introduction of new software solutions to support the annual financial statements
• Ensuring integration between the SAP modules FI, CO and SD
• Responsibility for G/L account and cost center master data and account assignment details
• Bank accounting
• Posting wages, salaries and pension payments

• Successfully completed professional education in business administration or a Bachelors degree with focus on finance and accounting
• 3+ years professional experience in finance and accounting
• Additional accounting certificates will be an asset
• Good knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS)
• Safe handling of SAP R/3 (FI/CO) or S4 HANA and MS Office applications
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Fluent in written and spoken German or Czech
• Further European language skills are a plus
