Junior Cable Installation Project Engineer

Main tasks Pre-planning:

• Collaboration in the creation of components of the project management plan such as e.g. schedule, resource plan, procurement plan, cost plan, quality plan, risk register etc.
• Project management work by service providers and active collaboration in the preparation of the technical planning for the submarine cable installation (subsoil exploration, explosive ordnance detection and clearance, rock clearance, dredging, cable installation)
• Tracking the performance of service providers in accordance with the contract with regard to scope of delivery, deadlines, costs, quality and risks, as well as documentation
• Support in the preparation of approval-relevant documents

Main tasks during the subsequent realization of the project:

• Coordination of various contractors in the relevant subsections such as e.g. subsoil exploration, explosive ordnance detection and clearance, stone clearance, dredging, cable installation
• Coordination of the preparation of implementation planning with all internal and external project participants
• Independent review of the consideration of all underlying standards and regulations

• Monitoring the contractually compliant execution of services with regard to scope of delivery, deadlines, costs, quality and risk

• Engineering Bachelors degree required
• Fluency or high level of German required
